It's official carton forms have been eliminated! Today it's progressing at a better pace than yesterday. The men are continuing with the trenching and forming the northeast end of the lot for flat work. Actually the trenching is near completion and the rocks are being moved out of the way. Today we've had unexpected workers onsite again getting in the way of our progress, but it's a job requirement to adapt to the unexpected and change the plan that will allow us to continue irregardless. I guess the right saying would be, "You gotta roll with the punches." It seems that about the time we finish grading or prepare an area for flat work, the developer's contractor sends over a crew to work in that very area. Thinking over it now, it's just a challenge we have a job to do and so do they. It's just a matter of finding a way of working together towards a common goal. For now the ACM and PM have been patient with the delays these intrusions cause. BEST NEWS: CONCRETE IS STILL SCHEDULED TO BE POURED ON SATURDAY.
